I graduated from Newcastle Medical School in 2007. Following my foundation years I began my Anaesthetic training in 2009 (still going!). I have worked mostly as a LTFT trainee in the region since.

I have completed higher training in pain medicine and advanced module in peri operative care. I am currently doing my advanced module in paediatric anaesthesia.

I like to learn and have gained Post Graduate Certificates in Critical Care and Human Factors. I have a particular interest in quality improvement, to support my development in this area I am studying a degree apprenticeship in Strategic Leadership for Health and Social Care.

I have a young family and two Labradors that keep me busy in my spare time.

I am very excited to have been selected as trainee rep for the year and look forward to working with the network.
